Creating/Editing/Deleting Personal Account

  1. If you are new to Jobsinbaroda.com, you need to register with this site which is totally free of cost. You will be presented with form in which you are supposed to fill in your personal information and login details. Personal information includes name, sex, date of birth, address, contact number. Login information includes your email ID (which also serves as login name for signing into your personal account) and password.

    To get this form click on ‘Register your CV’ from the menu placed at the top of the page. In the page that comes up, click on the ‘New Candidate! Register here’ button to get the Candidate Registration form.

  2. Once you have filled in the information click on ‘Register’ button. This will create your personal account with this site.

  3. After you are successfully registered another form comes up which collects your qualification details, current employment details and desired employment details. In the qualification details you are allowed to upload your CV which may be a text, MS Word, Rich Text Format or PDF document.

  4. Click on ‘Save’ button and you are done with registration!

To view or edit your personal information click on the ‘Account Details’ menu placed on the right hand side of the web page. You can change the authentication password from this page by entering the current password and then the new password twice in the respective fields. After you are done with editing, click on the ‘Update’ button.
Note: You need to login before editing your personal information.

To view or edit your personal job profile details click on the ‘View / Edit Profile’ menu placed on the right hand side of the web page. From here, you can update you CV by uploading a new one. After you are done with editing, click on the ‘Update’ button.

  1. On clicking the above mentioned link you are presented with web page containing a list of Job Categories. Adjacent to each job category, number of vacancies corresponding to that category is displayed in square brackets.

    eg: Banking, Insurance, Finance [10]

  2. Clicking on any category leads you to a web page containing Jobs Listings based on that category.

    CVs are invited for the post of Finance Manager. Good knowledge and experience in finance sector is desired.

    Here you will find a brief information about each company's name and location, skill desired in the job seeker, number of positions and salary quote as shown above.
  1. For detailed information, click on heading of each vacancy item in the list. This will open up the Job Details page. Here you will find 2 buttons. One for applying for the job and the other to email the job vacancy information to your friend.

  2. On clicking ‘Apply for this job’ button you are provided with 3 options. Selecting the first option sends the current CV stored with Jobsinbaroda.com database to the recruiter. Selecting second option will upload and send a new CV document to the recruiter from the computer you are operating. Choosing the third option will upload a new CV from the computer you are operating and replace the stored CV in Jobsinbaroda.com database with the new one . The recruiter will then be sent a copy of this new CV.

  1. On clicking the ‘Advanced Search’ link the corresponding page opens up. This page offers different search criteria for customized job searching.

  2. You can select industry type from the drop down list.

  3. There are 4 check boxes for selecting the type of jobs. Check the suitable options.

  4. For searching job with specific criteria you can provide keywords.

    As an example, suppose that you have selected Education from ‘Industry Type’ and you are searching for a job related to teaching Chemistry. Then you can provide a keyword, Industrial chemistry, or Inorganic chemistry.
    Note: For multiple keywords use comma (,). 

    Just below the ‘Keyword’ textbox are 2 mutually exclusive option buttons. If you want all the keywords to be present in the search result, select ‘All of these words’ option. On the other hand, if you want search result to be displayed with any of the supplied keywords, select ‘Any of these words’ option.

  5. Select a state where you agree to work in.
    Note: For multiple selection keep the CTRL keyboard button pressed while selecting the states with the mouse.

  6. You have the option to either mention the location of work inside a specific state (which is generally one or more cities) or you may mention a job reference/ID from the newspaper advertisement or email which you come across.

Jobseekers have option to search jobs by viewing the Recruiters List. You can see this link at the top of home page. By clicking on desired company, you are directly taken to the recruiter web site where you can find out more info about that employer.

Job Alert

It enables you to set up a regular feed of most recent job vacancies appearing in Jobsinbaroda.com through email.
Clicking on this link opens up a page which holds a list of job alerts set by you. Initially this page is empty. Click on the underlined hyperlink shown below to add your first job mail alert.

Jobmail alert is not added. Click here to add.

Fill up the form that comes up. In the ‘Keyword’ field, add words that justify your search for job in desired industry. For e.g. Software Development, Java, .Net.  On clicking the ‘Activate’ button, this information gets added to the list of job alerts.
